VetShare understands that in the local veterinary wholesale market there is a significant presence of foreign-owned companies which has resulted in reduced local ownership and control.
VetShare is a start-up company and will be a wholesaler that purchases veterinary drugs and other supplies from manufacturers and sells them on to veterinary practices throughout New South Wales, Queensland, Australian Capital Territory, South Australia, Victoria and Tasmania with a profit margin.
VetShare believes it will be profitable because of its customer service excellence, strict terms of trade, ready-made customer base and competitive pricing structure.
VetShare’s vision is to be the preferred veterinary wholesaler in Australia. The company will be principally owned by Australian vets who will have control over the company’s direction and decisions.
